Ding, Weizhi

Ding Weizhi, male and from the Han ethnic group, born in January 1931, is a native of Weifang, Shandong Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. In July 1955, he graduated from the Marxist-Leninist College, department of philosophy as a graduate student. He is a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He used to be vice-president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic specialties are history of Chinese thought and theory of history.
