Guttmann, Christian

Dr. Guttmann is a research fellow at Monash University. His most recent involvement was in the Intelligent Collaborative Care Management (ICCM) project -- a joint project between the British Telecom, United Kingdom and Monash University, Australia. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science (CS) from Monash and two Master degrees in CS from German and Swedish universities (and received an annual Swedish AI Master Thesis award). Dr. Guttmann has many years of industry experience working for Ericsson and companies now acquired by IBM or Microsoft. He also worked in industry linkage projects with the British Telecom and Hewlett Packard. He was a short-term scholarly visitor at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI International), Harvard University, Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS), Technical University of Delft, Utrecht University, University of Magdeburg, and University of Duisburg/Essen. From August 2010 onwards, he will also hold a senior researcher position at EBTIC -- an innovation and R&D centre established by the British Telecom, Khalifa University and Etisalat.
